Holy Naaru on toast I FINALLY got to update. Ye Gods I am SO SORRY…I don’t know what’s gotten into my time management lately. >_< Maybe I’m just taking too much work on..?
….Naaaaah.
Anyways, this is a silly – and sadly true – story of something that happened to me last week. The Premier of our province, Gordon Campbell, was visiting the new Pixar studio in the floor below us. (For you American types, a Premier is basically a Senator.) Now, thing is, I HATE this guy. He’s a horrible hack who does nothing well, except for draining the middle class and poor dry. Anyways, I went out to grab a latte with some coworkers, and while we were waiting in the lobby for the elevator, I started fuming and cursing about how horrible and incompetent this man is. Our designer states that ‘it would be funny if he got off the elevator?’
Guess who walked off last?
Needless to say, he shot me a not-nice look, and went off after his entourage. No one let me live that down for the rest of the day. XD But now I can proudly say that I’ve made an ass of myself in front of the most important political figure in British Columbia! \o/
And fear not, for this weekend will be the continuation of the regular storyline.
As for another small update, two weekends ago I had a blast being interviewed by Matt and Kim, two of the three hosts of Walk Alone gaming podcast! It’s a UK-based podcast – not entirely WoW related, but just kind of more, well, everything related. We chatted about games, anime, tabletop gaming, and everything in between. I had a blast, guys! Thanks!
Finally, while this is old news, I still love it – Scrolls of Lore recently got a tour of the Blizzard studios, and he managed to take some photos of sexy, sexy murals. Also, Blizzard has finally posted a gorgeous (although inconsistent) concept art gallery!! Homminah-homminah!! <3
Well, here we have – guest week #1! I’m really sorry for spending my last week on another project…I’m actually itching to draw out the next few pages of this story. Sadly, it’ll have to wait a few weeks until my surgery is all done, and I get my cast off. Yes, you heard it – I’m scheduled for wrist surgery this Friday, on the 29th of January. Came as a shock to me, to be quite honest…I was expecting a few months down the road. :/
Anyways, that being said, I’ve been spending every waking moment trying to get two very important things done – one, finish my entry for the Blizzard Calendar Art Contest, and two, get a few preemptive weeks of Byron done. That, along with tying up any lose ends at my full-time job…well, I’m pretty frantic as of late. ^_^;
This is where I renew my plea to you, my wonderful readers – if you can spare an idea and a bit of time, why not have some fun and show off your 1337 skills and make a guest comic for WoW Eh? The world is your oyster on this one, folks! It can be funny, serious, violent, cute, whatever! Just, y’know, no ‘Two Girls One Cup’ sorta thing, alright? :s
I should only be out of commission for…maybe three weeks? Four at the absolute most? The doctor I saw was kind of vague, although I’ll have better information once it all goes down.
Thanks again for being such a wonderful community, guys. I feel awful for putting WoW Eh on hold again, but after this, my wrist will be in top working condition!

Hi everyone!
So, it’s been an interesting week of ups (and a rather big down…I won’t get into it…). Aside from celebrating WoW Eh’s first birthday on Friday (along with Brigwyn’s – happy 4-0, dorf!), World of Warcraft, Eh? was chosen as the winner for Blizzard’s official comic contest for the month of September! I’m curious as to what ‘Blizzard Entertainment Manga’ I’ve won…personally, I’m hoping it’s Warcraft Legends #1-3, and not the Sunwell Trilogy. I’m sorry to look a gift horse in the mouth, but…oh Gods. The Sunwell Trilogy. “Oh good! Here comes Magical Pretty Soldier Aveena!”
“I will save you, my precious friends! Come out, token animal companion!”
“Raak!”
Then Aveena gets kidnapped (again?) ’cause she’s a huge tool, and Ka’lec gives up his hot fiance to be with that Mary Sue. …Yeah. I’m sorry. I just couldn’t do it. -_-
In any case, it was certainly a personal victory for myself, the comic, and all the contributers. Again, YOU guys made this comic what it is. YOU, the readers, the Twitter-folk, the community…I know it sounds silly, but even having not met most of you, the feeling of being part of such an amazing and supportive community has been such a blessing. I can say for a fact that I have the best fans, readers, and friends out there.
Kissless and I have been doing some intense brainstorming, and I must say I am really excited to start some of the new story arcs. New characters, new stories, and of course, plenty of silly, one-shot joke comics along the way, eh?
Speaking of the comic, Kissless and I have chosen our top three winners! Again – the first place winner will have their question answered in a comic (I’m sorry if I totally butcher anything), along with two signed prints of their choice. Second and third place winners will receive two and one signed print of their choice, respectively.
Onto the winners!
THIRD PLACE: Third place winner is reader Fertzane, with their question:
“What is the most beautiful place or thing you have ever found in Azeroth?”
Kissless: Nagrand. ^_^
Cadistra: Hmm….I’d have to agree with Kissless, although I find myself partial to both Mulgore, or any heavily-forested area, like Feralas, or even the Howling Fjord.
SECOND PLACE: Second place winner is reader Hypatie, with their question:
“As a fellow Canadian, I have to ask: If there were an NHL (Northrend Hockey League), what team(s) would Cadistra and Kissless cheer for?”
Kissless: Cheer for? I’d be right there, playing offense! I’d give a whole new meaning to body-checking another player! ~_^ Toot!
Cadistra: As I do not like, nor see the point in competitive sports, I would probably be first aid, or perhaps the referee. You’d be surprised how quickly you can dissolve a fight when the combatants are covered in thorny vines. ^_^; Also, if they get violent, I always have [Barkskin]!
And the first place winner is….
Breakhoof, with their question:
“Kissless what do you think Cadistra looks for in a life partner, and to Cadistra vice versa? We know Kissless likes Illy-pants, but why is that? What qualities do you think she sees in him?”
You’ll see the answer to that question next weekend, in full comic form! Congratulations to all of our winners! Will the readers please contact me at my ‘comic’ email – kelly[at]woweh[dot]com – so I can wrangle up your addresses? I need to send you guys some prizes! ^_^ (By the way, Breakhoof – I know you edited the question, but I’ve got a better comic layout with your first version. Trust me.
)
Many congrats again, and a HUGE thank you to all who made this comic a success! Here’s to one year, and many more to come!
~Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a Brewmaster title to get

EDIT: I almost forgot! A BIG congrats on my GL, the guild leader of the <Portent Alliance>, on getting the off-hand Warglaive of Azzinoth from Illidan, giving him (her?) the full set!! Way to go, Udi! (Picture courtesy of Jezriyah, a fellow trollsie guildie).
I know everyone knows by now, but hey! Finally! The moment we’ve all been waiting for…
They were announced just this morning on the official WoW site, and I am stoked! They only have tauren bear form up for preview right now, and are supposed to add the Night Elf bear later this week. They’ve [Blizzard] said in the next content patch, both bear and cat will be updated. Slowly but surely, they’re actually doing it!
Thank you, Blizzard, for making us druids happy! ^_^
In other news, I recieved word from my family that my Grandfather had passed away yesterday morning. I say this because I’m not entirely sure that there will be a comic this week as a result of said news. I really don’t want to skip out, but this is just a pre-emptive warning to not be shocked if the site doesn’t update this weekend. I’ll try my best to have the next part up, though. =(
Go call your grandparents; tell them you love them~
