If anyone figures out which movie I parodied the title from, you win the internet. And possibly cookies.
Man, Cadistra is a friendly lady, but she does not like this Kama guy. I mean, she arrived on the scene to her best friend in pain, and he’s just standing around, going on about some ’schedule’ that needs to be kept? Looks like she’s gonna give Kama the cold shoulder until she finds out more about this elf…
SO! We’re back! Hooray! I gotta say, even though it’s upping the workload again, it feels great to be drawing WoW Eh again. I really missed this comic! As far as the wrist, it’s actually getting worse…but the holidays are over, I’m bored, and you guys have waiting long enough. I plan to get a comic done for the week that I’m out for surgery (it’s at the end of January), so hopefully I won’t have to take any more time off. That would just be mean on my part.
In other news, I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful holiday. Mine wasn’t that restful, but I got to visit a lot of friends and family, and I think I ate about 1.5x my body weight! All in all, it was really wonderful, and I hope for everyone to have a happy, healthy and prosperous 2010.
Now, if you follow me on Twitter, I’ve been eating up an anime series called ‘Ghost Hunt.’ I watched in subtitled (duh), and just finished the 25-episode series earlier today. I have to say that I really enjoyed it, although the ending was a bit too anti-climactic. Also, the series ended off as if it was going to continue, but I seriously doubt it will (unless it did under a different title? Anyone know?)
The series is staring Taniyama Mai, a young girl who, after breaking an expensive camera while exploring an old schoolhouse, gets roped into being the assistant to the ‘Shibuya Psychic Research Center’ after the original assistant, Lin, is hurt. Its leader is Kazuya Shibuya, a cold, business-like young man, and throughout the series, is joined by an ex-monk (just called ‘Monk’,) a self-styled Shinto Priestess named Ayako, an Australian Catholic priest named John, and Masako, a famous spirit medium.
The characterizations were wonderful, and even though it was a full cast of seven people, I really felt that no one got trampled over, and everyone was given ample screen time (except for Ayako, the priestess, but you find out why at the end). There were times when I was watching that I would genuinely get freaked out, like during poltergeist scenes and what-not. I honestly don’t think there’s an anime that has spooked me as much as this series has. All in all, great characters, interesting plots, and fantastic animation. I give it a must-watch.
Also, adding a new webcomic link to the blogroll: ‘No Pink Ponies!’ by Remy ‘Eisu’ Mohktar! I read through the entire archives over the holidays, and I love this comic! A very cute styling of a girl geek who opens a comic book store to get close to the guy she likes. Great story, great [geek] humor, and great art. Enjoy!

SHE’S BACK!
Ghost Hunt was based off of a novel series and I imagine that why the ending was kind of lackluster. unfortunately it doesn’t seem like a second season is in the works which is sad given what I’ve heard of the later novels.
Is it from Futurama? I remember Fender saying it.
Also, i would follow u on twitter, but u havent accepted my request yet. i shall be patient though, as you are still totally awesome twitter or not.
Ah, whoops! I usually wait about 1-2 weeks to go through all my follow requests…! ^_^;;;
My memory is an odd thing at times, I think I know the movie despite never actually watching it.. early 90s cartoon about dinosaurs named We’re Back?
Ding-ding!
I can has cookie?
My father always said ‘what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger’… until the accident.
Dont worry, keep on working and it’ll all be worth it!
Were still watching, they get better every time you post!
… oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo …
talbuk!
(i think)
and welcome back, best wishes for the new year and all!
I allways wonderd where folks keep their mounts when they aren’t riding them….
Beast-masters make sense, Magic and summoning, but druids and all i got no clue…..
WB!
Your retern is welcome!
I can understand why cadistra is reluctant to trust this guy right now, we’ll just see how this turns out, I’ve waited a few months, I can wait longer (BTW I haven’t played WoW in months! one of my freinds at school said to try to avoid playing it for two weeks and he claimed it impossible ’cause we’re addicted, so why is it then i haven’t had the urge to play WoW not for two weeks, but for two months!?)
Nice! good to see youré back
as for the elf, somehow i don’t think Cadistra is able to take on a Bronze dragon(sandy hair and the meet at their shrine are my clues, as is his unconserned demeanor)
but lets get suprised shall we ?
Welcome back luv!
Glad you had a really good holiday! And here’s some extra *moo-hugs* for the upcoming weeks.
What’s up with the 6 fingers on one of Kama’s hands? (I’m talking about the second panel.)
Is this some Inigo Montoya rip off or is it just me?
He appears to me to be using two hand to hold the artifact, Lumorei.
I’m sorry to hear the wrist is feeling worse. I hope the surgery goes well. What would be mean of you is to not take the time you need.
We all want you to get better.
“We’re Back!”
A Dinosaur Story
Is anyone else struggling to log onto he forum? I get some message about ‘function require’… I havent been able to log on in about a week now… I think.
here’s what comes up if I try to log into the forum:
Warning: require(./../../wp-config.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/p/r/o/prototype4a/html/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php on line 13
Hmmm….I can get there just fine, but just in case – if anyone else is having a problem, lemme know and I’ll contact my coder.
poor you
hope your wrist will be better again soon =( but btw cant cadistra kinda like heal her if it “just” drains life energy like a warlock :3?
