An amusing look at World of Warcraft, with just a delicate hint of Canadian humour. Goes well with a sharp cheddar. Updates Mondays. IF YOU'RE NEW HERE, I WAS HACKED A FEW WEEKS AGO. A NEW SITE UPDATE IS IN PROGRESS. THANK YOU!
It’s gonna be great playing a Worgen!
I already have a night elf druid, so I was considering playing a Worgen Mage. I have a name saved, but I wonder really how “cool” it would be to be called Lycanthrope. Probably too obvious to be interesting :-/
You know, I quite like the night elf order illustration. Very dark.
I have just two things to say.
1) Worgen can use the excuse ‘I ate my own homework’
2) I agree with Callieta, Cadistra does look cute with glasses…..well cuter anyway, she was already cute
Seriously, whats more badass than a Wolf humanoid that can transform into a Human, Bear, Cat, Bird and Sea Creature. From what I hear they also have a attack bonus to their racial. UNFAIR!:)
At first, I was completely befuddled by this design decision as well. However, if you watch the trailer, when the narrator refers to “old allies,” they show a Night Elf Druid. My best guess would be that this is the very same Druid (I forget her name) who was blessed with the Scythe of Elune, which was, as you know, basically used to call forth and control a ridiculously huge army of Worgen.
With that said, it’s probably all sorts of things you already heard.
@Badger: I think that specific night elf was killed. But if something connected to Elune did call them forth, maybe there is a connection. Though I bet they haven’t done anything before now, since that whole connection is kind of embarrassing.
@ Badger: YEAH!!! another person to join my army of mad badger men! we shall rule this world and live off nothing but custard!
Back to reality…
Worgen druid… oh you know im gonna make on of those!
Although, its apparent that in the old days, Dell computers werent all they were cracked up to be.
Ooh Ooh! wait! missed something…
Looove the human priest and the worgen in the 5th slide.
‘James, what have you brought me this time?’
‘Shiny green thing, thought you might like it *shrug* tried to eat it, chipped a tooth.’
‘Lovely james… but I sent you out to buy Groceries!’
A shout to my fellow canuck players hiiii I too was infuriated by tauren paladin/priest as I think this is just blizzard giving morons what they want and not considering if it honestly fits the race at all (then again I dont personally think the horde should have paladins at all and that BE’s arent justified to honestly have em but eh lets not spilt hairs here), If they were gonna pull this crap I much would have rathered a tauren rogue xD
In all honesty Im thinking of making a worgen on my server just for some funny roleplay…I even have a lumberjack outfit made for him ~.^
love ur comics they make Mondays actually look-forwardable instead of dreaded.
Worgen druids is both a mystery (Zoinks, man) and a good decison by Blizz, now u can either choose a Tauren or Troll for Horde, and a Night elf or Worgen for Alliance……b
@Almaster –
Oh yeah, everything’s fine! I was in Seattle over the weekend, attending the Penny Arcade Expo. I was pretty sure I said there wouldn’t be an update…hmm. Tune in at the usual time; I’ll have a comic up for everyone!
To “maplesarub”, the reason there are tauren paladins and priests is that they are using the sun of their god. Blizzard aren’t “giving morons what they want”.
Excuse me Llewyn, but there seriously existed something before Google?!
Wow, the internett is older than I thought….
This look really great though, love it.
Someone mentioned the Scythe of Elune and Arugal, but I’ll have to disapoint.
Arugal summoned the worgen from another dimension using forbiden knowledge, not the Scythe of Elune. The original wielder was killed at a mine south of Darkshire. A group of humans went there to search and found it. Everyone in that group other than one was ripped apart, but the one who escaped had the Scythe of Elune, but was hunted by the worgen. Also, when he dropped it because it was slowing him down and the worgen were hunting him, the ogres in the area took it….or that’s what I read anyway…
Thanks for the incredible drawings though, it’s really incredible….and now I know how the worgen found out druidism too!
The internet. Well when you’re stuck in seclusion from the rest of the world one has to entertain themselves somehow. But really know Tauren are cows and Worgen are werewolves… coincidence? I think not.
ROFL! hiarious and awesome as always.
After reading the last panel it was all so obvious. Of course! The internet!
Druid Lessons doesn’t take that long to torrent. They were obviously looking at pr0n the whole time.
Is that computer coal or steam powered?
So that’s why we weren’t allowed in Gilneas, the Worgen were being greedy about their bandwidth!
You can find almost anything in the Internet ^,^” Hope the Worgen didn’t find ‘Druidism for Dummies’.
Funny concept to think about their lore too xD
Imo, worgen should get paladins.
Also, love the 1st, 2nd and fourth panels under the learn your wow title bar thing.
Sweet merciful Malfurion!
Worgen would make terrible inscriptors wouldn’t they.
I loved the comic.
Once again Cadistra gives us her epic wisdom and clears up the lore behind all the new classes, the INNANETS!
(on i side note i found Cadistra /w glasses, (may i be so bold)…hot? }:8)

Very nice work, Kelly. And hilarious, as always!
Your worgen look so awesome, and the facial expressions!! <3

Love the way you draw the worgen. Please! Draw more! More!

Ahaha the interwebs is master of everything XD
My first reaction to this comic was “Holy crap, Cadistra looks gorgeous with glasses!”
…
Then I felt the need to beg for more Cadistra with glasses. <_<

where u get the cataclysm hand book from..google?
Surely they’d have used Lycos, not Google?
Aah the new class race combos. Tauren look horriblech in cloth.
Surely they’d have used Lycos, not Google?
You’re assuming the readership (or Cadistra!) was on the internet long enough ago to REMEMBER Lycos.
But holy damn that was clever.

Very nice work once again my dear lady,..
@Brigwyn
Nice icon, where did you get it?
I’m sensing a “Freaking furries” inside joke x3
A moment of silence for the victims of 9/11. Thank you very much.

I bet they learned how to be proper durids from Alamo.
