As the running joke goes, yes, ‘cold’ to a Canadian is really a state of mind. Of course, it all comes down to climatizing…to us on the West Coast (British Columbia), a ‘drought’ is when it’s 25 degrees or more for a week. It also rains about…oh…maybe 315+ days a year? Especially in the interior (the Praries, Ontario), it can drop to 40 below easy, but we’re all used to it. Even nowadays, when the average temp is 6 degrees (it’s a wet cold, too), people still walk around in shorts. =)
Also, sorry about the late comic; this one was a little too ambitious with my currently inhuman schedule, but fear not – regular updates will continue as promised.
To all the newcomers from WoW Insider – thank you so much!! Thank you for your kind comments, and just the fact that you came on by to see what was going on.
One last thing – don’t forget to log in today, if only for a minute! It’s the four year anniversary of World of Warcraft, and they’re giving out a wonderful little vanity pet – a babeh polar bear!! Yaay! He’s so cute! Pick up yours today!
Peace out and stay warm in Northrend!
~Kelly
PS – I hope I have fullfilled someone’s dream of seeing a cow in a bikini. HOT. lol.
PPS – …Speaking of girly things, I just wanted to clear up the little…uh…mishap on WoW Insider…I’m not a ‘he’…LOL.
PPPS – Awww!!! Babeh bears!! XD
EDIT: LAWL. Felicia gives some good advice on guys looking to meet girls on WoW, but my #1 requirement – maybe, just, y’know…don’t be a douche? Maybe? Also, spelling isn’t a bad idea as well. I understand you need to type quickly, but it’s good to know that grammar is your friend. XD
SUPER EDIT: Happy Thanksgiving, you crazy yanks. =)
So…I am so swamped with work….and life….and the lack of sleep…that I would rather have this AWESOME guest comic up rather than get my comic on Thursday or something ridiculous. I’ll have a really good one up Monday! I PROMISE.
…PROMISE.
Anyways, this week’s comic is by the wonderful and talented Temris, a fellow Vancouver Film School alumni. Viva la Classical Animation, classes 62-65! Thank you Temris! XD
Again, check back next week! New comic! Especially if anyone is coming from the WoW Insider ‘Sunday Morning Funnies’ post…I left a comment in there. Which, I somehow doubt anyone has read. XD
One more thing – yay piccies from work!
Take care everyone!
~Kelly
Due to a ridiculous and growing workload, general life business, and, of course, WoW, the comic is going to be a little bit late. I was thinking of posting a guest comic I had recieved, but…I’m saving that one for another time. =)
The comic is about 60-70% done; I’m just finishing inking and starting colouring. I’ll try try try to have it up late tomorrow night. Sorry!! v__v;;
Hope you’re all having fun in Northrend!
~Kelly
So! Secret identities have been revealed! Kissless and Cadistra are now known to the world! Cadistra (me, Kelly) is the one on the left..the redhead with the Horde scarf, and Kissless (my friend, Anat) is the one to the right. It was freezing cold (about 4 degrees), but we managed to chat up a really nice Alliance lady. All in all, everyone was polite, but just a bit chilly. We waited for about an hour and a half, but got our just rewards!
Fun night, great meeting new people….to Northrend!
….
….As soon as I hit 68!
Peace out; I need to get up for work in five hours. =(

Wow! So…well, hello! I actually started this comic over at a free webcomic hosting site called SmackJeeves.com, but my guild leader (who is also a master programmer), put this together for me! Mind you, I have the coding skills of a six-year old, so even something like ComicPress was just too confusing for me. =(
But hey, I’m learning.
The site is going to be getting a bit of a facelift in the next few days, so bear with me. I want to make this site something that I can be proud of! Also, keep an eye on blog posts…I usually post miscellaneous art within them (ie – stuff I draw at work).
Well, welcome to the official re-opening of World of Warcraft, Eh? Enjoy!
~Kelly
Down here in Vancouver, government organizations are promoting the hell out of carpooling, considering that more often than not, the traffic is unbearable. Plus, Vancouver’s all about going green and what-not, so…either take the Skytrain, or carpool. Yaaay for the environment! Although, I don’t think the wyvern is too happy. Plus, what kind of ‘emissions’ would Azerothians have to worry about…? o_O;;
Man alive, we witnessed history in the making. I sincerely hope that everyone tuned into the election on Tuesday…how amazing. Now, I won’t go on about it, considering everyone is pretty sick and tired of the whole thing…but wow. McCain’s speech was very honorable, and Obama…well, we all know. Let’s hope America and the world stands by this amazing man.
In other news, is everyone excited for Wrath of the Lich King? Anyone doing a midnight release? I’m sad, for I cannot go, because I am the slowest leveler ON THE PLANET. I just dinged 46 this morning, and I’m halfway to 47…well, I mean technically I could go to Northrend, but, considering the lowest mob will be at level 68…I’m thinking not the best idea. Soon….very…very…soon.
Keep it real, all~
~Kelly
PS – If you’re Canadian, this Tuesday is Rememberance Day. Take a minute out of your day to remember the brave men and women who fought in the first World War for us. Don’t forget your poppy!
